IGNITE Church Planting is a church starting ministry located in one of America's greatest population centers. NW Indiana and the Chicagoland portion of NE Illinois is home to over 11 million people.  It is estimated is that over 60% of Chicagoland’s population is unchurched.

IGNITE is a grassroots association of individuals and independent Christian churches and churches of Christ committed to planting new churches.

  We have demonstrated through decades of faithful service that the best way to impact a community is to plant a church that will reach un-reached people and reproduce itself. Every new IGNITE church will reproduce itself not only in a local setting, but through the planting of daughter churches.
Our aim is to plant churches consistent with Restoration Principles. IGNITE Church Planting is committed to doing whatever it takes to plant a church that will reach people for Christ. This has been our purpose for over 100 years. Our legacy today is that 2 out of every 3 people in Chicagoland’s Christian Churches-Churches of Christ attend a church started by IGNITE (formerly known as the CDEA - read more about the name change).
