Church Planting in 2016:
We are planning on the launch of two plants, RiverStone in Oregon, IL (March) and Nation’s Chapel in Glen Ellyn (September). We are also going to be hiring a planter for O’Hare #4 and are looking for some other ways to start additional churches. I’d also like you to pray for 50% more house church leaders (currently 12 house churches) and for the launching of 3 new house churches in 2016.

Craig & Sarah Arnold

Church Planters, Oregon IL

My wife and I are 2010 graduates of Lincoln Christian University. We moved to Montezuma, IN soon after our wedding to pastor a church. It was at Montezuma Christian Church that God began developing within me a planter’s heart. After 4 years, Sarah and I welcomed our daughter, Norah in 2014. It was also at this stage that God called us to partner with Ignite Church Planting to potentially reach 53,000 people in Ogle County, Illinois. We felt the call and we chose to follow. Now we are excited to see RiverStone Christian Church be the Church that Ogle County needs by bringing people to a foundation of hope in Jesus!

Dave and Jana Jenkins

Church Planters, Glen Ellyn IL

Dave and Jana Jenkins came to Chicagoland after 19 years of church planting in East Africa. God gave them a gift to start new endeavors. They were part of the missionary team that rebooted a Restoration movement missionary presence in Uganda after a 21 year absence. In Rwanda they were able to initiate one of the more influential churches in post-genocide Rwanda, Christ’s Church of Rwanda; and launch Kigali International Community School to serve returning Diaspora families and missionaries. They believe there are 5,000 to 10,000 East African Diaspora in Chicagoland, and hope to shepherd them into a multi-cultural church.
