Although our name has changed (formerly the C.D.E.A.) to Ignite Church Planting, we continue to have the same mission: Reaching the unreached and unconnected in Chicagoland for Jesus.

2010 Plants:
Lifeline Christian Church in McHenry County: Dave Rudin, church planter
O’Hare Airport region: Sam Barnhart, church planter
South Bend, IN: Andy Kasar, church planter. This plant is a multi-site partnership with Suncrest Christian Church, St. John, IN.
Highland, IN: Jared Mehrle, church planter. This plant is a multi-site partnership with Suncrest Christian Church, St. John, IN.
We continue our work in the City of Chicago through Simple Churches:
Mark Willis is spearheading the simple church network in the City of Chicago. He is currently looking for leaders of these simple churches. One simple church is currently meeting in the Hyde Park neighborhood of the city. Mark Willis is working on developing more simple church leaders for these works. In 2011
2011 Plants:
Three plants reaching different neighborhoods in the city of Chicago. These plants will be a multi-site partnership with Community Christian Church, Naperville, IL.
Joliet, IL area – This plant will be a partnered plant with Crossroads Christian Church, Joliet, IL.
One plant to be determined – We are in the process of evaluating several different areas of Chicagoland to see where this church will be started.

Ignite Church Planting (formerly the CDEA) has started over 100 churches, and has adopted an aggressive plan to start an additional 100 churches by the year 2025, To reach this goal, several types and kinds of new churches and church planters will be needed.
